Cindy Steinberg Design
Cindy develops visual communication solutions for leading companies and brands harmonizing strategic insights with innovative design. As the founder and creative director of CINSTUDIO, she crafts comprehensive solutions for branding, identity, and communication needs, seamlessly integrating print and digital mediums across diverse platforms.
Before founding CINSTUDIO, Cindy held the position of Design Director at Wolff Olins, a leading international branding consultancy headquartered in London. During her tenure at Wolff Olins, Cindy spearheaded creativity and innovation for esteemed global clients such as PwC, Visa, GE, Ecolab, and Carter’s. Cindy led the Visual Systems Design specialization in North America for Razorfish. Here, she orchestrated the development of conceptually robust and creatively compelling digital solutions for a diverse array of clients including Intel, Microsoft, Nexstar, Eveo, Documentum, Petopia, DoubleTwist, Paramount Parks, and McKinsey.
Prior to her tenure at Razorfish, Cindy honed her expertise as a Senior Designer at MetaDesign, where she focused on interface development and corporate branding across print and new media platforms. As a Senior Designer at NeXT Computer, she played a pivotal role in designing and developing user and technical documentation, packaging, and online help systems. Cindy served as a Design Director at the Burdick Group, where she crafted interactive exhibit systems for notable clients such as Philips and AT&T. Throughout her career, Cindy has collaborated with esteemed organizations including the Getty Center, Bank of America, Digital Equipment, Ernst & Young, NYSE, ClearStation, Canon, Coach, and Levi’s.
Cindy has lectured at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Art Center College of Design, and California College of Arts (CCA).
Cindy earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with honors from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design. Additionally, she completed post-graduate studies at the esteemed Schule für Gestaltung Basel (Basel School of Design) in Switzerland, studying under renowned design luminaries Armin Hofmann and Wolfgang Weingart.
